her is an experienced market and social research consultant with over 13 years of experience in the industry. Her research experience spans a range of sectors including urba
n planning, human services, workplace, communications, the media and the arts. Her partic
ular diversity of experience makes her unique, along with the personal commitment and enthusiasm she brings to every project. Natalie can find clarity in the most complex of research projects and is able to communicate clear insights both verbally and in writing.
Natalie formed NSF Consulting in 2004. She brought to the business a number of years of experience as a landscape planner, having graduated with a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from the University of New South Wales in 1990. The skills she subsequently gained in project management, market research, social research and program evaluation are also pivotal strengths in her work.
Since 2006 Natalie has worked as a part-time tutor of marketing and branding subjects at the University of Sydney in the Economics and Business Faculty. She has also been actively involved in the visual and performing arts for many years and serves on the Sydney Philharmonia Choirs Communications Sub-committee.
Professional membership include the Australian Market and Social Research Society (AMSRS), Museums Australia- Evaluation and Visitor Research Special Interest Group (MA-EVRSIG) and the Australasian Evaluation Society (AES).
Samantha Heron is an experienced brand planner and qualitative researcher. She has worked for three of Australia’s leading advertising/research agencies; DDB, George Patterson and Sweeney Research. She has moderated more than 200 consumer groups and talked to more than 1500 people from all walks of life across Australia. She holds an honours degree in Psychology.
Sam’s experience spans designing, commissioning, conducting and analysing qualitative and quantitative market research across a range of industries. Her passion lies in the human services sector and encouraging humanitarian efforts in the world, no matter how small. She has worked for the Starlight Foundation on Starlight Day, supervised school students for the Red Cross Door Knock Appeal and volunteered at Father Riley’s Youth Off the Street, Echo Neighbourhood Centre and for three months in 2009 at Casa Hogar/Home for Children in Puerto Escondia, Mexico. She also writes a blog called howtohelpnow.com
